Robert F. Ward
A native of Meridian, Board President Robert Ward graduated from Millsaps College and earned a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Alabama. He is president of Windmill Properties and has been affiliated with Broadmoor Development Company since 1972.
Robert B. Deen, Jr.
Bob Deen serves as foundation vice-president. The Tupelo native attended North Carolina State University and Mississippi State University. Mr. Deen earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University. He is retired from practicing law.
Ronnie L. Walton
Ronnie L. Walton, foundation secretary, is a Carthage native, has been a member of the Meridian law firm of Glover, Young, Walton & Simmons, PLLC since 1976. He received his B. S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University in 1971. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi in 1975.
Stephen O. Moore
Steve Moore serves as foundation treasurer. Steve returned home to Meridian after graduating from Millsaps College and earning his law degree from the University of Mississippi. Mr. Moore is an investment broker with UBS.
Dr. Joe S. Covington
Dr. Joe Covington of Meridian graduated from the University of Mississippi, subsequently completing his medical education at the Northwestern University School of Medicine. He is retired from the practice of medicine.
Marty Davidson
Marty is a graduate of Tulane University with a MBA in Business Administration. Mr. Davidson is Chairman of the Board of Southern Pipe and Supply Company, Inc. in Meridian, MS.
Jim McGinnis
Jim McGinnis, III is a graduate of Meridian High School and the University of Mississippi with a B. A. in English. He is President and CEO of McGinnis Lumber Company.
Archie R. McDonnell*
Archie McDonnell was born in Okolona. He has a B. A. in Banking and Finance from the University of Mississippi and is the retired board chairman and CEO of Citizens National Bank in Meridian.

Sheryl Feltenstein
Sheryl Feltenstein serves as the foundation’s administrative assistant. A graduate of Meridian Community College, Ms. Feltenstein also attended Mississippi College. She is a past district governor in Civitan International and serves as secretary of the board of Mississippi Industries for the Developmentally Disabled-Meridian.
Rebecca Combs
Rebecca Combs, a native of New York, is the Executive Director of the Phil Hardin Foundation and most recently served as the Executive Director of the Reading ASSIST Institute in Wilmington, Delaware. Ms. Combs received both her B.A degree in Political Science, graduating magna cum laude, and her M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the State University of New York at Brockport where her studies in economics took her to the former Soviet Union. |
